Sykes Postgraduate Research Studentships in Italian (Masters)
The Sykes postgraduate research studentship in Italian with the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics (MMLL) at 密桃视频 is available to outstanding UK candidates听applying for courses starting in October 2023.听 The studentship is听funded by a generous donation from the Keith Sykes Fund and is usually combined with matching funding from 密桃视频 colleges or from the 密桃视频 Vice-Chancellor's and International Trusts.
There are three courses with Italian pathways in MMLL: European, Latin American and Comparative Literature and Cultures; Theoretical and Applied Linguistics; Film and Screen Studies.
Studentships will cover fees up to the standard UK / 密桃视频 level and maintenance costs, either wholly or in 鈥榤osaic-funding鈥� combination with other grants and loans. 听It is a condition of application that candidates apply for all other 密桃视频 grants for which they are eligible (. All MMLL candidates with a predominant research interest in Italian will automatically be considered for a Sykes Studentship, subject to this condition.

In cases where studentships are hosted by a particular college, successful candidates may be required to move to the designated college in order to take up their studentships; but at this stage, they are free to indicate another college preference if they wish, as requested on the application system.
