Ƶ University Polish Society and Ƶ Polish Studieswarmly invite you to a talk by award-winning author Clare Mulley onher biography of Polish wartime spyKrystyna Skarbek. Krystyna Skarbekwas a Polish agent of the British Special Operations Executive during the Second World War. As a Pole and a woman, she proved her value against prejudice in the special forces. She was determined to do everything she could to help Poland against the Nazis. Clare Mulley isthe author of two biographies, one of which received the Daily Mail Biographer's Club Prize.She receivedPoland’s National ‘Bene Merito’ Awardfrom the Foreign Minister of Poland for her work on the biography of Krystyna Skarbek.
