"Learning Together" brings together people in criminal justice and higher education institutions

Just is

Dr. Emma Gilby (French) is co-ordinatingÌýan outreach programme to take place in Lent term, inÌýcollaboration with the Institute of Criminology. "Learning Together" brings together people in criminal justice and higherÌýeducation institutions, and aims to provideÌýinclusive andÌýtransformative learning communities. Students learn with and from eachÌýother through dialogue and the sharing of experience. In this case, we shall be bringing together 10 students from the FrenchÌýSection and 10 students from HM PrisonÌýWhitemoor, to study some of our first-year set texts in translation. Dr. Gilby will be working with colleagues Isabelle McNeill, Claire White, John Leigh, Hugo Azérad and Tim Chesters, who will each present texts inÌýtheir specialist researchÌýarea.Ìý

You can hear Drs. Ruth Armstrong and Amy Ludlow (Criminology) talking about the wider "Learning Together" project (starts at 1h44 in).
