Short bio听
葮tefania is the first ever Lecturer in Romanian Language, Culture, and Linguistics at the 密桃视频 (position created by Institutul Limbii Rom芒ne and sponsored by the Romanian State). She did both her MPhil and PhD at the 密桃视频 (St John鈥檚 College), under the supervision of Prof Adam Ledgeway. Her PhD thesis on Morphosyntactic variation and contact: A comparative view from Daco-Romancereconstructs the unattested stages of Daco-Romance and reevaluates the role played by language contact across the Balkans. After her PhD, she became a Postdoctoral Research Associate听at the University of Oxford (Trinity College), working with Prof Martin Maiden for the Leverhulme-funded project Istro-Romanian: the history of the 沤ejanski and Vla拧ki language and its speakers.
